Representative Consulting Assignments

Greenbrier Southwest has taken on consulting assignments for a range of projects that have come from close business associates or that are of particular interest:

• Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort, New Mexico – consultant to the Santa Ana Pueblo for planning and development of this 350-room resort hotel, the first branded resort to be built on tribal lands
• Collier Center Convention Headquarters Hotel, Phoenix – teamed with the Baron Collier Company to design a potential convention headquarters hotel in Collier Center in downtown Phoenix
• Seven Canyons Sedona – directed planning and entitlements for this 200-acre residential and Tom Weiskopf-designed golf property in Sedona on behalf the landowner
• Laguna Pueblo I-40 Corridor Study, New Mexico – consultant to the Laguna Pueblo for strategic planning of major freeway intersections within their tribal lands
• City of Scottsdale WestWorld Master Plan Study – teamed with SmithGroup Phoenix for a winning submittal for a study of the City’s 386-acre recreational landholding
• Las Montañas, California – consultant to Talley Corporation of Phoenix on master planning for a major landholding, later sold to a conservation group
• Tejon Ranch, California – consultant to DMB Associates on a potential luxury lodge on a major landholding
• La Playa Resort Hotel, Naples, Florida – consultant to the Baron Collier Company for evaluation of possible purchase of a Naples resort property; successful purchase followed
