About Kierland Commons
Within the Kierland community, Kierland Commons is the most distinctive component, representing a return to a public street and commons-centered commercial and residential district focused on pedestrian scale retail streetscapes activated by vehicular energy. This project has become a frequently cited example of a “new urbanism” and has been used as a model nationally and beyond.
